Darkside

All the paintings presented below are part of a series of my Dark Portfolio, consisting of 30 artworks created during the winter 2017/2018. They are also my first paintings which I did after not making art at all for 15 years and probably the most honest. I love them the most from all my paintings, despite their ‘naive’ form.

The whole creative process and coming back to painting as such started from the foresty hypnotic vision which I didn’t understand. You can see the vision in the painting FEAR. It was followed by other dreamy and gloomy memories, impressions and phantasies.

After making the few first artworks, I’ve jumped into a deep hole of the artistic project of processing my darkest emotions, memories and imaginary visions through art. It brought me to the forgotten part of my memory and opened my imagination. I present below 18 of the 30 artworks.

The Dark Portfolio is closed and not for sale.
